| The "Jeanie Deans" lounge, was named after her running mate Jeanie which served on the Clyde from 1930 to 1964 and features the vessel's paddle-box name plate above the bar. The bar was created by combining the two forward lounges which the vessel had throughout her career with the LNER/Caledonian. | |

From the 1994 season, the bar was relocated to behind the position from which these photos were taken when the two companionways to the promenade deck shelter were rearranged to run forward from the main deck. In 1988 it was necessary to enter the bar to reach the two companionways which led to the open promenade deck at the rear of the forward observation lounge.

The bar is now located between the two entrance doors from the main alleyways (above left) and the lounge extends almost to the bow (right). originally it was anticipated that the bar would have been changed again as part of the "Heritage Rebuild" but this was deferred to the second phase of the work (2002-03)

As part of the Heritage Rebuild Completion Phase, the lounge was refurbished to reflect 1940s style if not the exact arrangement of the room itself. The bar was returned to the bows. The lounge also lost it's long-term name honouring the Jeanie Deans as part of its "return" to the atmosphere of its first season (1947)
