Built by Escher Wyss & Cie. at Zurich, Switzerland
Length 62.85 metres (overall) - 60.00 m (perpendiculars)
2 cylinder compound diagonal engine - 700 and 1200 mm x 1400 mm stroke :she is the fastest Swiss paddler (reaching 17 knots, 31 km/h)
4.26 m diameter wheel with 9 paddles of 2.90 x 0.76 m

Reassembled at Luzern from December 1912 and launched on June 2nd, 1913


Entered service on July 10th 1913
Enclosed wheelhouse built in 1925
Out of service for the 1979 season for a major re-fit
Last journey made on 23rd September 2001 before undergoing her next major refit.
Inaugural passenger run for the "new" Gallia : May 1, 2004
